Hi there!
I’m Michele Pacey, a wife, a mom of three, a proud Canadian, and a maker. You’ve just landed on Michele Made Me, my crafty life blog!
Michele Made Me was started in 2010 as a place to inventory my copious creative escapades. Since then, I’ve written well over 100 free craft tutorials and 600 blog posts, I’ve opened an on-line shop where I sell downloadable patterns and tutorials, and I’ve contributed to many a’ craft publication both on-line and in print (including this wonderful book).
A creative soul in the genes of my genes, I try to keep an open-mind when it comes to making things. I sew, I knit, I crochet, I quilt, I draw, I paint, I colour, I sing, I write, I garden, I love to work with paper, and ultimately nothing is off limits. If it can be made by hand, I may just have to give it a whirl.
And please note: I like to re-use. That’s a common thread on the old weblog that I’m afraid I cannot deny. Worn out jeans, empty egg cartons, old twigs: these types of things spark my imagination. And I come by it honestly, just ask my spry, scavenging, septuagenarian parents.
Oh, and one more thing. Sometimes life is a bewildering journey and who knows what’s up or what’s down. On occasion, I air those concerns here on the blog in a feeble attempt to understand. Then again, maybe you know something I don’t eh? So please, feel free to educate me in the comments.
If you have any questions, craft-related or otherwise, leave a comment on the post in question or send me a message via the contact page.
