Alrighty. Where was I?
Oh yeah. Behold! More of my Craftsy Blocks of The Month for June and July. Remember these? These are the blocks I’ve been knocking off bit by bit since January? I kinda got sidetracked with other stuff and fell behind on this monthly task. I still have August and September to catch up on. Hrm.
You know, at first I thought this vibrant colour scheme would be really fun, but now I’m not so sure. I’m committed to it now though, so I intend to finish up the year but I’m very very very very (times 2) skeptical about this quilt and how it will turn out… Sigh… I wish I could just believe…
On the bright side, I have found a new love! The Dresden. I adore adore adore both wheel and plate versions of this block, and promise to dedicate some serious playtime to it someday.
Hi Michele,
What wonderful work. Everything you do is always so well done.
Hnag in there, I'm sure the vibrant color scheme will turn out wonderful.
Big hug,
Giac

Oh yes, Dresden, circles, wheels. I love them and I love your other BOM blocks too!!
Your blocks look great, love the Dresden. I've just joined a 'Quilting for Beginners' course, hope one day to do such lovely blocks as yours.

Your blocks are gorgeous!!! I love the colors. It's good to push your color palette out of your comfort zone!! It's helps your creativity. Not that you need creative help. You are one of the most creative people I know!! Hugs Ariane
The finished quilt will be cool, you have a knack of making things work 😉
Been meaning to try the Dresden for agggges and I have a whole lotta scraps to use up (two large bin bags), I actually signed up for the Free BOM a couple of weeks ago too to push me to get more serious about quilting.
