So, I had this lovely Kleenex box
that was begging to be used in some lovely craft! And I’d recently read this tutorial by Diane Gilleland at craftypod about how to make notebooks out of a cardboard box. The kleenex box yielded (yes yielded) 3 handy little notebooks. I used a variety of paper for the inside pages: several sheets of my son’s newsprint used only on one side, partially-used colourful construction paper, and some plain white half-used printer paper. You can see the many kinds of paper in this pic down here… (You also get a glimpse of the boy’s artwork which is such a nice bonus!)
The “buttons” are cut out of the bottoms of egg carton cups. And the tabs stay closed with a small piece of self-adhesive Velcro.
These little booklets were so much fun to do and took no time at all! What a great way to recycle!
A few more photos…
Have a lovely day!

Love this idea! I hate to through out empty tissue boxes as they make really pretty designs on them now. Definitely going to try this idea! Thanks for the link.
