We have been known, at our house, to dance our little hearts out! You know, turn up the volume and give ‘er! The girls get in on it, the boy just rocks it out (you should see him and his little moves!). And I dare say, Lo can keep up too. That’s the happiest surprise every time!
The little lady in the photo is a tribute to our family dancing.
I drew the primitive leaping shape on a piece of paper. I collected faces from junk mail and glued them on the shape. That took a while. Then I transferred the shape (with extra space on all sides) onto a small piece of plywood that was taking up space in our shed. I cut the shape out with a coping saw (small hand saw that is shaped like a ‘d’). Sanded the wooden shape. Painted it with a few coats of white paint. I then glued the paper lady onto my wooden shape. And with a final coat of lacquer, she was done!
I don’t know how she does it! She never seems to tire… And she does it all with a smile!
Happy Dancing!
